Why We Care...
Lead is a very hazardous material linked a number of health issues. According to the Mayo Clinic these health issues include (but are not limited to) learning difficulties, developmental delays, kidney damage, nervous system damage and many other issues over time.
Our owner Gloria Washington had lead poisoning at the age of 4. Gloria's experience of lead poisoning as a child nurtures her ambition to never have a child experience the same nightmare. Gloria shares her experience openly and loves to educate parents, landlords, tenants how to avoid the hazards of lead poisoning.
Our Services
We offer a variety of lead testing services including testing pursuant to the NJ Lead Law (P.L.2021, Ch.183); a law passed by Governor Phil Murphy requiring ALL rentals built before 1978 to be screened for lead hazards by visual inspections or dust wipe inspections which is determined by the Township. NJ Lead Law testing is simple and thorough. We work with owners and prepare them for the test and provide guidance by pointing out what hazards are present (if any) before their inspection. Unlike other companies that will take your money, never prepare you for the inspection and charge the same amount or more for re-inspection. Our company detests this practice and want no part of cheating consumers.
